You have to be careful about the DJ's you hire. It seems anyone these days with a selection of CD's and a stereo system can claim to be a DJ.Some of the problems that exist out there are DJ's with poor sound equipment, minimal experience and poor lighting effects or none at all. Other DJ horror stories include the DJ not turning up to your event or turning up late, not playing the music you want or having a very limited range of music not suited to your event.
Large DJ companies can have a number of DJ's working for them with a wide range of ability which can be hit or miss as to which DJ you end up getting for your event.
